Meet The Makers

Empowering single mothers, one stitch and one robe at a time.

Our Robes are more than just about style and comfort—they’re about making a difference. Handmade by skilled artisans, they support the Single Mother Child Foundation in collaboration with Rural Nepalese Women’s Handicrafts (RNWH). Through RNWH, women gain essential skills in weaving, dyeing, and sewing, allowing them to earn fair wages and achieve financial independence. By choosing our robes, you’re embracing luxury while empowering women, supporting sustainable practices, and uplifting entire communities. Your purchase has a lasting impact, helping artisans build better futures for themselves and their families.

Lokta Paper: where ancient craft meets modern impact.

The Bodhi Press is incredibly proud to bring this rare gem to the world. Lokta paper, crafted exclusively in Nepal, is a testament to sustainability, cultural heritage, and unmatched craftsmanship. By collaborating with talented rural artisans, we are helping to preserve a centuries-old tradition that is as meaningful as it is beautiful.

Made from the renewable bark of the Daphne plant, Lokta paper is entirely tree-free, eco-friendly, and carefully handmade. From harvesting to sun-drying, each sheet reflects the dedication, precision, and artistry of the Nepalese makers who rely on this craft to support their families and communities.

By choosing Lokta paper, you’re not only embracing a one-of-a-kind product—you’re supporting the artisans who keep this tradition alive and contributing to a greener, more conscious world.

Behind every handmade soap is a story of creativity, care, and commitment to a better world.

At The Bodhi Press, our mission goes beyond crafting eco-friendly, handmade products. We are deeply committed to creating a meaningful impact on marginalized families and underprivileged women in Nepal.

In collaboration with HM Essence, we’ve developed a comprehensive program that provides skill-based training and sustainable job opportunities. This initiative empowers women to achieve financial independence, support their families, and actively contribute to their communities.

By choosing our products, you’re not only embracing wellness and sustainability but also supporting a partnership that fosters resilience, economic empowerment, and environmental consciousness. Together, we’re creating a brighter future—one handcrafted product at a time.

Passionate about weaving dreams into fabric, one stitch at a time.

We are proud to collaborate with the 23 Wada Women Empowerment Organization, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. This incredible organization creates all our 100% cotton products and more. All items are handmade using traditional techniques passed down through generations, helping preserve valuable skills while providing income opportunities for artisans. Through skill-building workshops and meaningful project opportunities, the organization empowers women to support themselves and their families, while fostering growth within their communities. Together, we are committed to creating products that not only celebrate craftsmanship but are designed for everyday use. With each piece, we are passionate about weaving dreams into fabric, one stitch at a time.

From our blend to your cup—supporting the hands that grow it.

From our blend to your cup, we are dedicated to supporting the hands that grow it. We work closely with small-scale tea growers and local sellers, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their hard work and dedication. By fostering strong relationships with these growers, we help provide them with the resources and training they need to thrive. Through our partnerships, we aim to empower communities, promote sustainable farming practices, and create a direct link between the farmers' efforts and your cup of tea. With every sip, you're not just enjoying a premium blend—you're helping to build a brighter, more equitable future for tea-growing communities.

Hand-twisted incense: preserving tradition, empowering artisans, and uplifting your spirit.

We’re proud to closely work with White Tara Incense based in Kathmandu, Nepal to create one of a kind unique aromatherapy incense by using ancient technic. In effort to keep ancient technique alive, we provide training and opportunities to artisans from rural and urban areas, many of them women. By creating these jobs, we help preserve an age-old craft, support livelihoods, and celebrate cultural heritage.

The Bodhi Press handmade rope incense—a labor of love steeped in tradition.
